We’re so excited to share the news of our partnership with a local charity that is dear to our hearts – the Nanny Angel Network (NAN).
Nanny Angel Network is the only charity of its kind in Canada that provides free in-home childcare for mothers who have been diagnosed with cancer, for those requiring palliative care and for families requiring additional relief during the bereavement period.
As many of you know, Miik is led by two working moms – Susan Cadman and Donna Smith. When they learned about the service the Nanny Angel Network provides to young mothers they knew they wanted to get involved and give back in some way.
Miik has developed a one-of-a-kind infinity scarf in our custom bamboo fabric. 50% of the profits will go directly to the Nanny Angel Network to support its programming and services.
Designed by women, for women and with proceeds supporting women in need, the NAN scarf is a symbol of women coming together to care for each other when it’s needed most.
“NAN allows mothers to get the rest they need, while their children get the emotional support needed to thrive through this difficult time in their lives,” says NAN Founder Audrey Guth. “We’re so grateful that Miik has designed a scarf to support the Nanny Angel Network.”
The scarf is an incredibly soft, tri-colour infinity scarf in fuchsia, charcoal grey and soft pink, separated by a black stripe. It can be styled in various ways to beautifully accessorize your wardrobe year round.
Perfect as a gift (or for you!) the limited edition NAN infinity scarf is available for purchase here for $55.
