Canadian Made Summer Fashion Feature on Global's Morning Show
Posted on July 02 2014
If you watch The Morning Show on Global you might have recognized a familiar fashion line! That’s right, last Friday morning Toronto-based stylist, Samantha Stoncius, was on air sharing her Canada Day fashion tips and she included Miik. It’s no secret that there is nothing more fashion-forward than wearing clothing that is designed and produced locally – especially for the Canada Day weekend.
We were delighted to be featured alongside fellow Canadian designers Liel and Lentz, Coal Miner’s Daughter, lilikoi, Headmistress and Philip Sparks. On the show Samantha shared with viewers that Miik is a clothing line that is designed, milled and manufactured in the GTA. Our beautiful bamboo-rayon looked amazing on TV (if we do say so ourselves) Samantha herself was also wearing a gorgeous black Miik dress and said “once you wear Miik you won’t want to wear anything else.” That’s what we like to hear!
This Summer we hope you choose to wear Canadian made fashions and we certainly hope your wardrobe is filled to the brim with beautiful Miik pieces. Don’t forget to take advantage of our Canada Day promotion, 40% off select styles with the code “Canada40”, and be sure to share your locally made Miik outfits on social media by tagging @Miikinc.
Be sure to check out the segment from The Morning Show below and keep up with us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for all the Miik updates you’ll ever need.
