We are producing reusable, non-medical face masks for donation to Michael Garron Hospital and other health workers in our community that have personally requested them for their clinics and patients due to a global shortage of PPE.
As a Canadian brand, we are deeply invested in the wellbeing of our community and feel we must do our part to help during the COVID-19 crisis. These face masks are made of our buttery soft, heavyweight, stretch bamboo fabric. Each mask contains a pocket to insert a disposable filter. They're soft against the skin, machine washable, reusable, and proudly made in Toronto, Canada.
Your donation helps cover the cost of cutting and sewing these masks. Miik has donated the fabric and is not profiting from your donations.
*Please note: These reusable masks are not intended to be a replacement for N95 or medical grade masks used for treating patients with COVID-19 symptoms. Our goal is to help meet the needs of lower-risk workers who are experiencing a shortage of PPE while conserving N95 masks for the frontline healthcare workers who need them most.
