What's a melange?
Melange simply means mix! Our melange fabrics are a mix of different coloured fibres to create a soft, heathered effect that has a cozy, luxe vibe. All melanges are stated in the colour name, excluding ‘charcoal’, which is also a melange.

Lovely concept - neck opening is tight though

I really love the look of this piece and got it in the navy melange/white! It's totally my style and I really wanted to love wearing this piece as much as I loved the look of it. Unfortunately, the neck opening is quite tight, and despite wearing it several times it didn't get looser around the opening. My head isn't particularly large, so I was surprised by this. Unfortunately it is tight enough that any makeup on my face would easily end up on the inside of the white collar band, which meant more trips to the washing machine. Sadly, I found this piece is making me work a bit too hard (put makeup on after putting it on, be super careful taking it off, wash it), so I'm not wearing it as much as I'd hoped. I've not given up on it entirely, but this is the first Miik piece of the many I own where a design issue negatively impacted my experience of the piece.

This is definitely something our team noticed right away when we received the product, but didn't notice during the testing stages of the product. The neckline has fusing which gives the collar a real polished, structured look and means you never have to iron it — but yes it also makes it a little tricky to get over your head. We have written this note on the product page for customers to know before they buy — and we also hope to create a new design in the future that doesn't have this issue. Another Miik piece to add to my Miik wardrobe.

I sized up to get a looser fit over all my Miik bottoms. Just love it. Youshould have a rewards program for those of us who purchase and love all the Miik pieces in our wardrobe.
