I am the founder, owner and designer of Miik Inc, and I want to tell you a story about an ugly skirt. It's the reason I started this businessâcrazy, but true! My husband bought me this bright orange bamboo skirt quite a few years ago. It was NOT my style...but the fabric was irresistible. Buttery soft, stretchy and durable. Fashion be damned, I wore that ugly skirt all summer long. I thought...if I was willing to wear a skirt I donât even like, how much would I wear a beautifully designed piece made of the same soft, stretchy fabric? A seed was planted.â â
I began learning more about the environment and fast fashion. I hated the idea that people were buying cheap clothes that would only last a season or two, ending up in a landfill site. It wasnât long before I realized that there really was a huge gap in the market, and I wasnât alone. People (like you!) were searching for soft, comfy clothes in flattering designs that would stand the test of time.

Miik's mission is to inspire you to create a wardrobe you truly LOVE, with a less is more mindset. Every piece I design is made from our custom milled, buttery soft, eco-luxe fabrics, and is designed and sewn right here in Canada. đšđŠđżâ â
Connecting with you all has brought me so much joy and a sense of community that has been much needed this last year. If I had it my way, I would meet each and every one of you face-to-face!
