The Marianna is a perfect length for me - sits on my hips comfortably without grabbing. I like the neckline better than the Sutton because it has a smaller seam and always lays flat. The ink blue colour is a stunning alternative to navy.

A Good Tee for Layering
At first I thought of exchanging the mini-striped Marianna tee, because the fabric seemed quite heavy for summer. (It is heavier than the bamboo in other colours.) However, I changed my mind. The heavier fabric has a lovely "hand” and rich quality. I think that this top will look quite classy in the fall and winter when layered with a black jacket. And I did wear it on one of those pleasantly cool summer days that we had before the heat wave.
