International Women’s Day gives us the chance to celebrate that impact while also asking an important question: how can we do more?
This year, we’re proud to share a new charitable giving strategy that strengthens our commitment to creating opportunities for women and girls, both globally and here in Canada.
We’re proud to introduce a more intentional approach to how Miik gives back. Our 2026 charitable giving strategy focuses on supporting organizations that create real opportunities for women and girls through education, economic empowerment, and community support.
Our primary impact partner - Plan International Canada
Miik is proud to deepen our partnership with Plan International Canada, committing $75,000 over the next three years to support women and girls building brighter, more independent futures.
This partnership builds on our ongoing work and reflects our shared belief that investing in women and girls creates lasting global impact. Our three-year commitment will support Plan International Canada’s Women and Girls’ Economic Empowerment Fund, an initiative that helps more than 100,000 women and girls across six countries gain access to education, develop job skills, start businesses, and create sustainable livelihoods for themselves and their families.
Through this partnership, every Miik purchase helps invest in programs that equip girls and women with the skills, resources, and opportunities to build brighter futures.
Our Canadian commitment - Indspire
Each year, Miik contributes $10,000 toward an Indspire scholarship, supporting Indigenous students across Canada in accessing education and opportunity. This commitment reflects our responsibility to invest meaningfully in reconciliation, equity, and education at home.
Community care - The Love Club
Miik also supports select local initiatives aligned with our values, including The Love Club, a Toronto-based organization dedicated to supporting new mothers through essential community care and connection.
