You voted the Tierney dress as the winner of our Fall 2023 Miik design contest! Congratulations to Nancy F. of Gatineau, QC; Victoria K. of Grande Prairie, AB; and sisters Sara F. + Kate W. of Takoma Park, MD who submitted the design.

You voted for it, we made it in our buttery soft, heavy-weight fabric. With its sewn down under-layer, the Tierney is a faux wrap dress you can trust on windy days! With it’s adjustable tie waist, this dress is super flattering on all body types. Wear it with the tie worn at your natural waist or higher up as an empire waist, creating extra ruching across the tummy. Pockets on a wrap dress? Yes! We have sewn in a secret pocket on one side!

PANT LENGTH
We've started offering some pants and even our bestselling Lisa legging in three different inseams: short, regular, and long. Use your inseam measurement (crotch to ankle bone) to determine what pant length works best for you. We've included height estimates as well, but please be aware that those are generic, and that your inseam is more accurate to determine which length will work best for you!

CHEST/BUST MEASUREMENT

While measuring, wear the bra you typically like to wear under your clothes (or no bra, if that's your preference!).

Stand up straight and wrap the tape under your arms and across your back, over the fullest part of your chest. Make sure the tape is lying flat and isn't twisted. Breathe normally, noticing the variations as you breathe and record the highest number in inches or centimetres.

WAIST MEASUREMENT

Wear a fitted shirt while you measure. Measure the smallest part between your hips and your bust. Usually this will be about 2-3 inches above your belly button.

Take a breath out and then rest the tape against your skin, but do not pull tight while you record the number.

HIP MEASUREMENT

Wear more fitted clothing, like leggings, as you measure. Measure the widest point of your hips, including your tummy and derriere as you wrap around. Make sure the tape is lying flat and isn't twisted.

Rest the tape comfortably against your skin and don’t pull tight when you record the number.

INSEAM MEASUREMENT

Our inseam measurements reflect the measurement from the pubis to the ankle bone (not to the floor, like some inseam measurements). Record the measurement from the inside of your leg, from your crotch to your ankle bone while you stand up straight.

You may need help with this one – hold the top of the tape under your crotch while a friend holds the other end at your ankle bone and records the measurement from there.

A must have. Absolutely lovely fit and feel. Seriously everything I have from Miik is just so wearable! For reference I'm 5'10 36/ 30/37. Small fits well

Wow! I honestly didn’t expect to love this as much as I do. It hugs in all the right places and is very figure flattering. Hopefully it stays in the regular rotation with expanded colours. Pine green would be fabulous. I would also say it’s true to size. Well done!!!
