The Akari top is back-to-front reversible – switch from a scoop neck to an elevated high boat neck. PANT LENGTH
We've started offering some pants and even our bestselling Lisa legging in three different inseams: short, regular, and long. Use your inseam measurement (crotch to ankle bone) to determine what pant length works best for you. We've included height estimates as well, but please be aware that those are generic, and that your inseam is more accurate to determine which length will work best for you!

CHEST/BUST MEASUREMENT

While measuring, wear the bra you typically like to wear under your clothes (or no bra, if that's your preference!).

Stand up straight and wrap the tape under your arms and across your back, over the fullest part of your chest. Make sure the tape is lying flat and isn't twisted. Breathe normally, noticing the variations as you breathe and record the highest number in inches or centimetres.

WAIST MEASUREMENT

Wear a fitted shirt while you measure. Measure the smallest part between your hips and your bust. Usually this will be about 2-3 inches above your belly button.

Take a breath out and then rest the tape against your skin, but do not pull tight while you record the number.

HIP MEASUREMENT

Wear more fitted clothing, like leggings, as you measure. Measure the widest point of your hips, including your tummy and derriere as you wrap around. Make sure the tape is lying flat and isn't twisted.

Rest the tape comfortably against your skin and don’t pull tight when you record the number.

INSEAM MEASUREMENT

Our inseam measurements reflect the measurement from the pubis to the ankle bone (not to the floor, like some inseam measurements). Record the measurement from the inside of your leg, from your crotch to your ankle bone while you stand up straight.

You may need help with this one – hold the top of the tape under your crotch while a friend holds the other end at your ankle bone and records the measurement from there.

Akari Top - Ruching

Love the colour and style of this top! The ruching rubs a bit on my side and is a tad irritating for my skin but not a big deal. Overall, love it like the rest of my Miik clothes.

It fits perfectly & I love the colour .

Not as comfortable as other tops

I bought the emerald in small (my normal size). It is a beautiful colour! I love the neckline (especially the high side) and I don't mind the shelf bra as I love the Amina tank. Unfortunately, I agree with Shauna - after a couple wears, I'm realizing that the weight of the material and the way its constructed means it is not a super comfortable top, at least compared to my other Miik tops. I am also fussing with the rusching too much; I just can't get it to sit as nicely as it appears in the photos. It's also not a great winter top for me; I prefer to layer or wear sweaters and I don't like this look of this layered (that's a personal thing). Will try to wear it in spring more though. Maybe it'll grow on me!

Eggplant is a gorgeous colour!

I absolutely love this colour and glad I bought it in xxl before it sold out! (No Miik regret here.) The ruching is very forgiving in the stomach area and can be adjusted to sit where it looks the best. I love the shelf bra and 3/4 sleeves. I am on the smaller end of the xxl and bought that size to accommodate my waist, rather than bust, as this top is more form fitting. I find the scoop neck is a little wider than I would like, but nonissues when it’s worn reversed as the boat neck.

Great top!

Fit is true to my size L, love the fabric weight for winter, love the shelf bra and the colour!
